Are the documents secure?
Files are encrypted at rest and visible only to users of your firm. An upload link is bound to one client and one request, expires after 14 days and can be revoked, so a link forwarded to someone else opens nothing useful.
Where do you stand on GDPR?
The data processing agreement is concluded when you open your firm — it is part of the Terms of Service, so there is no paperwork and no waiting. You are the controller of your clients’ data, we are the processor. We record which version you accepted and when. The full text, with its annexes on the processing, the security measures and the sub-processors, is published on this site and you can read it before you open a firm. The app, the database and the documents are all in the European Union. Exactly what we process, where each piece of it lives, who the sub-processors are and how long we keep what — all of it is named in the privacy policy.
What does the client actually see?
A short message in your firm’s name listing what is missing, plus one link. Behind the link is a page with your firm’s name, the list of items and a big button for sending a photo or a PDF. No sign-up, no password, no install.
How much work is the migration?
Import clients from Excel or CSV, set the requirements once per client type and copy them across. A firm with 40 clients is realistically done in an afternoon — and you do not have to move everyone at once; start with the ten worst offenders.
What if a client still does not send anything?
Reminders escalate on a schedule and stop as soon as the document arrives. You can see who has gone quiet at any point, send a nudge by hand, copy yourself in, or mark an item as not needed for that period.
What happens after the 14-day trial?
Nothing gets charged automatically, because we never asked for a card. After 14 days you pick a plan, or the account simply goes idle — either way you can export your data and documents.
